Review: Jeepers Creepers Reborn

By Jeremy L.Z

If you are in the mood of watching a horror movie, do not, and I repeat, do not watch “Jeepers Creepers Reborn.” It was atrocious. The story was there, I guess, but it’s like if the movie started midway. There were jump scares but the movie wasn’t really scary — it was more like a comedy because of how much I laughed at the gory scenes. Anytime someone would get killed off it looked really fake. They clearly didn’t really try to make it look realistic. The acting was there, but it looked really uncomfortable to watch because there was also some bad acting.

The budget for the movie was around $5 million, which is really close to being a low budget film. It didn’t even gross past the budget; it made about $4.2 million, which is really low and I am mad that I even spent money on the movie. The set was noticeable that it was fake. There was a green screen that was bad because you can just tell it was a green screen. The actors, for example, were running in the abandoned house. It looked like they were running sideways a bit when they were supposed to be running straight.

Now if you are still planning to watch the movie — warning spoilers ahead. The plot of the movie was about a couple Chase and Laine, who are heading to the Horror Hound festival. Laine begins to have premonitions and visions about the town’s history. The monster Creeper was sort of the same as the first movie, but it was different, too.

Like in many horror movies, the main characters end up getting locked in a house and then have to save themselves from the Creeper. But the lead character, Chase, who is the boyfriend of Laine, the other lead character who got kidnapped by the Creeper, went on the roof and got this spiked thing from there and threw it at the Creeper. But the metal object they got fell down so weird that they started laughing at the scene because it was so bad. You can find the scene on YouTube and you’ll see what I am talking about. Search up Jeepers Creepers Reborn end scene and you’ll find it. So now don’t waste your money on “Jeepers Creepers Reborn.” Watch Halloween Ends or something because Jeepers Creepers Reborn isn’t worth it.
