Opinion: The Top 5 Soccer Teams in Europe

Soccer is one of the most famous sports in the world. With the World Cup being the most watched event every 4 year it is on the television. The real question is what the Top Teams in Europe Competitions are: Barcelona or Real Madrid. These are the top 5 teams in Europe right now.
1. FC Bayern Munich
FC Bayern the German machines went through the 19/20 Champions League season unbeaten and winning the famous trophy. Bayern were also champions in their respective league in Germany with a 13 point gap between second place. Having a pretty young squad allows Bayern not to worry about the future when they can relax having star Left Back Alphonso Davies from Canada at just 20 years old.
2. Liverpool F.C.
Liverpool have been shining the past 3 years but having extremely unlucky results. It all started when Liverpool reached the Champions League Final in the 17/18 season but unfortunately fell against Real Madrid. In the 18/19 Liverpool reached the final once again but this time getting crowned champions but unfortunately falling in second in the English Premier League by just 1 point. Liverpool were not giving up on that League Title as they came for it in the following year 19/20 with such a dominant season.
3. FC Barcelona
Barcelona is the most debatable team in Europe at the moment. After failing to win the Champions League since 2015, Barcelona have just exited the competition in sad ways. The most recent loss was in the quarterfinals against Bayern where Barcelona lost 8-2. As superstar Leo Messi struggles it means the whole club struggles but with no doubt has brought the lovely city of Barcelona lots of joy throughout the years.
4. Paris Saint-Germain F.C
Paris Saint-Germain F.C or better known as “PSG” is a French wealthy team that has dominated their respective league but have not had luck in Champions League. PSG being the 19/20 Champions League Finalist but coming short against Bayern has shown lots of promise for the coming up season. Paris has won its league title since the 17/18 season and has no sign of stopping. PSG having the most deadly duo right now Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappé both goalscorers hopefully they get their long and awaited Champions League.
5. Real Madrid C.F
Real Madrid is a club with lots of history behind its name. Being named the “King Of Europe” after winning the Champions League three times in a row. Although having no luck beating their long time rival Barcelona in the Spain top league. Real Madrid has come to a sudden slowdown as star player Cristiano Ronaldo decided to leave the club. Hopefully we start to see the Spanish giants rise again to the beast they were.
