By mid-march, during the Champions League, Second Leg, four out of the eight games had been played and so far there had been some big clubs that have upset and left the tournament pretty early on. The giant Spaniard of Barcelona was knocked out early, putting pressure on club captain Leo Messi on what’s his next move.

The two “Goats,” Messi and Cristians Ronaldo are not in quarterfinals for the first time in 16 years. Next week we’ll see Bayern vs Lazio , Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid vs Atlanta and Manchester City vs Borussia Mönchengladbach.

“There were very surprising scores on some games and very intense games,” said Armando “Guero” V. “It’s looking like everyone wants to win that trophy but I believe that PSG or Bayern will win the whole thing. They both have a pretty good squad and people that look like they can control the pressure.”

“In my opinion we had some interesting but shocking results that some people didn’t expect,” said Javier C., grade 12. “With two of the best players of the world being eliminated again, it’s shocking to see the end of an era start going down like that but about the games they were really intense and entertaining to watch.”

We are seeing the end of a beautiful Era of Messi and Ronaldo. Now it’s time to see Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland shine. That’s why people say the Champions League is the the best tournament as you never know what will happen.
